If you shop Staples for stationery and planner needs, check out planners for the next year. Stock is usually picked over or depleted by end of September. Just remembered I need to get a new planner for 2018 so adding that item to my list (make the most of walking through the big box district) as I want the $3 pen deal too.

Staples has mostly academic planners (ending around summer 2018) in stock. Be sure to check to see if there is a Back to School section near the computers/chairs in your store as that is where the planners were stocked-not in the paper/binder aisle as in years past.

If you are not near Staples but have a Rexall with 25% off stationery supplies, note that the latter stores may carry 5pk blue Bic Atlantis retractable pens for $3.74 (sale)or a 5pk with 2 blue, 1 black, 1 red and 1 green pen. Saw them at the Rexall at Upper Paradise and Stonechurch in Hamilton today. Still works out to 75 cents per pen, just like the $3 Staples 4pk pen deal.

Saw Sistema lunch kit but not the $4 deal at Staples-guess I missed it or I did not see the relevant end cap.

I have to see the Sistema selection at other stores this week to get an idea on different storage and also prices. Home Outfitters has offered that BOGO 50% off for most of the month.

Even Indigo has bento boxes. Lunch has become a thing. All I need to know now is if tiffin lunch kits exist in Canada (the stackable metal dishes in a carrier).

I will be simply following this list , will buy everything necessary at the closest store. Buying school supplies used to be a kind of tradition before a studying year, this time I am not feeling like spending hours on this kind of shopping, rather exhausting.
