Same here , called same answer.. they advised email & letters sent out regarding glitch.. to date nothing received, mine were taken all from Dream Rewards and not Cash Rewards.. which I thought was odd (as I have certain percent for each)

i was overpaid all in cash miles. But because I redeemed some cash miles, I didn't have cash miles when they took the over mat back, so they too all cash miles and some dream miles to make up the difference. I wonder what would happen if I redeemed all cash miles before they took the over payment back. Would I have a negative balance? it happened to my HBC reward acct when I returned something after I earned and redeemed the HBC points. My HBC reward acct has a negative balance. So I just got another HBC reward card and throw away the first one that had a negative balance.

I have been busy and haven't been following am or this thread lately.

What's with the am clawback??

Sobey (parent of safeway) with new ceo who used to run Cdn Tire apparently announced great turnaround results on Thursday. Greatly exceeded expectations and share price is up ~20% as a result.

I looked around at Safeway last night and didn't see anything I want to buy other than the milk which was what I went in for.
In general, I don't see too many great specials now vs before so perhaps that's the new strategy.

Finally spent some am recently by booking a short haul WJ reward flight from YVR. Supposedly got 25% discount due to my onyx status.

Right after, I went online and checked flight cost at WJ website. I got ~19.5 cents per am. Still have about 17.5k am to spend. I have found long haul reward flights or non-WJ flights require way too many am.

If you buy something at Safeway that you would have got getmyoffers offers on call the toll free getmyoffers number and ask for the airmiles be credited to your account.

GRR... Ontario always gets the good Gift Card deals. Foodland - buy $150 gift card, get 150 Air Miles. This card can be used at other Sobeys banner stores.

And.. this $150 spend would count towards the October Amex promo.. spend $100 at a grocery store get 400 Air Miles.

What's the earliest anyone here might get a sneak peek at the Blue Friday flyer? My senior parents need a bunch of cheese by Saturday and they won't want to wait until Friday, but if it's got huge air miles, I could convince them... lol
