Well, Sobeys Ancaster is about 40min walk from the library. I'll go now and see if there's info on how the free beef can be had. I'll get a pop while I'm there and get my Whiskas FPC redeemed too.

I know from a prior shopping trip, a customer behind me bought a specific meat item that was BOGO free and cashier told him, so he went to get #2 while cashier rang up rest of order.

@annedougherty -sorry for the delay in reply. Computer lab is in use and all three computers outside the lab were too.

Tia Rosa promotion-you buy the kit with all the components as listed in flyer and you can get ground beef up to a value of $6.99. This will be a scan at cash type promotion. I asked my cashier about it as 1) I saw no Tia Rosa products in the store (not at back end of aisle 4 where International/Mexican foods are, not on front or back end caps and no meat dept display where there was an Old El Paso/Heinz Picnic Pack display). I suspect that staff will set up Tia Rosa display tonight. I happen to see a demo table setup and covered by the the kitchenwares wall by seafood-may or may not be related to the promo.

BTW, if anyone still has their Whiskas FPC coupons, they have a limit of up to 75 cent value. The packs are 99 cents today but tomorrow, Sobeys will have the Perfect Portions on sale for 69cents. YMMV. At least I finally got a pack.

I got a refreshing Brisk canned iced tea by prepared foods for 89cents. Nearby in the aisle 1 jam/breakfast food area, is a metal bin full of Twizzler Pull and Peel products and Super Cherry Nibs-99cents per pack (regular candy aisle prices have not been adjusted btw). Yes, I had to get Cherry Cola licorice...but I also got two produce items for my next roast veggie dish!

Super glad that Sobeys is providing digital AM coupon access on Thursday, a day before a new flyer. One less coupon loading issue for me on Friday (when I have no public computer access unless I visit Turner Park library)! Got a return on the 15 bonus AM wub bison steak offer.
