What does financial cards mean? Credit cards? Or pre-paid credit cards?

I got dinged with hidden fees. Unless it's used within a year (usually), there is a $3/month fee.
My $65 credit from the airline (they wrecked a piece of luggage) was a MC gc. I misplaced it, had never used it (not activated it), and found it recently, only to have $26 on it. I'll never buy one now.

you can't purchase a gift card or financial gift card with an existing gift card or financial gift card. You can use cash, debit card or a regular credit card to purchase gift cards is my understanding.

This my understanding too. People in past have had problems with credit cards. I never have. I think this is less so in our ever cashless society too.

Does anyone know if they sell Home Depot GC's and is there a limit on the purchases? Getting carpets from there and would be nice to get this bonus to pay for the large purchase.
