I would love some advice please! I really want to take advantage of this offer but I am super bummed that the card I got the offer on has only $60 in points, where my other card has $400+. I am wondering if anyone has experience with combining cards into a "household". If I do that will I get new offers, or will the offers that are there remain?

Multiply the amount you redeem by .4

    so 50 000 points would be 50 000 x .4 or 20 000 points

    100 000 points would be 40 000 etc

I combined my household not to long ago. It was a pain more ways than one. I figured I was half way there I might as well continue. The offers were horrible at first but once I started to buy more and different items it went back to normal. Would I have done it again most likely no but now combined I have over a million points. It is nice to see.

Thanks for posting this. Wow a million points...that is awesome! I successfully combined my cards into a "household" and will be able to take full advantage of this offer today. I am seeing a musical in the city today and while there have been planning on doing some shopping at a SDM Beauty Boutique that has an extensive selection of brands -- many that are not available near me. This offer could not have come at a better time! I will probably leave the "household" after today as I like the idea of having two cards with separate offers. Even if the offers stink for the first while, my savings today should make it worth it.

Which account did you use as the HH creator, the one that had the 40% back offer or the one that didn't?

And after both accounts were in the HH, were there any differences between the HH's new list of offers vs. the two separate lists you originally had?

I made the account that had the 40% offer the head of household. The offers on both cards remained the same. The only thing that changed was my points balance.

Thanks. Good to know. I thought HH offers were supposed to work this way when the feature was introduced, but up until around mid-summer when I last tried making one, they never did.
