HRM Sobeys and Lawton Deals March 7, 2009

Taking a much needed break from studying I decided to venture out and to get some shopping in. Here is what I got.



Lawton Drugs Cole Harbour, NS.

I wanted to check out the Healing Garden and Calgon as my wonderful Mother told me about the deals she got yesterday.
I got a body wash and body cream for $1.75 each.
I think they run around $6.99 regular so total savings approx. $10.48.

Total spent (less tax) $3.50 total savings $10.48.

Sobeys Cole Harbour, NS.

King Cole Tea pack inspired by another poster marked down to $2.50 I think they were around $8.99 originally total savings approx $6.49
Inferno Excel 3 pack of Gum $2.99 50% saving sticker on it so got for $1.49 total savings $1.50
Pringles Extreme BBQ $1.00 usually around $2.50 I think so approx savings $1.50.

Total spent $5.00 Total savings $9.49.

Great shopping!!There is a hot theme going...hot tea...hot chips....hot gum....hot deals...you need a cold shower with the body wash to cool you down!!!

The gum was on sale at my Sobeys as well. I bought 2 packages @50% off and used a buy 2 get $1.00 off coupon (found in store). So 6 packs of gum for $2.00!

A friend on Facebook told me in late February that Calgon had declared bankruptcy and that Lawtons was having these deals. I wasn't really active on SC at the time and don't really use Calgon, never even thought to mention it later!
