Thread: Rexall promotion question

Hey I tried couponing at rexall today to get the $15 rexall gift coupon when you spend $50 before taxes. My subtotal before tax was $51.54 but after coupons my total was $12.54 but rexall wouldn't give me the $15 gift coupon because the computer wouldn't authorize them to approve it. They also said I can't use the $5 rexall coupon when you spend over $25 because it says before taxes and after discounts
Just wondering if you know why it wouldn't work?
Thanks for any info
UPDATE: Tried again this time spoke with a manager she called around and got the approval to do it but they wouldn't take the $5 when you spend $25 because the system rejected it when they applied my other coupons even though my total was above $25.00This thread is currently associated with: Pharmaplus, Rexall PharmaPlusLast edited by mandy403; Sun, Oct 27th, 2019 at 06:06 PM.

That's the same with Shoppers too - the final total less coupons has to be what they stipulate otherwise the computerized register won't accept/authorize.

Yes, I shop Rexall regularly, that is the way it usually works. Subtotal must be $25 after coupons to use $5 survey coupon (or system refuses it), subtotal must be $50 after coupons to get gift coupon, however gift coupon promos can be at cashier's discretion.
Also, when you use your gift coupon, you can't use the survey coupon in the same transaction (unless it has changed recently, you can always try). Last year you could use both together ex. spend $25 - $5 survey - $10 gift coupon, pay $10 no longer works.
