While the stickers on the cup rewards program is only leaving in the test areas (of Manitoba and Northwestern Ontario), the sticker/card program still remains in use elsewhere for now.
But the app now rewards its users with rewards for just about any menu item bought through the app. Link to the SC Blog article:

You likely need certain generations of smartphones to use the updated program. This thread is currently associated with: McDonald's"This is the Way." The Mandalorian

Seriously? I did not realize the removal of the stickers was not nation wide and we are the unlucky "test" area. I am NOT joining that app. Everything is a (insert bad word of your choice here) app these days. I hate it.

@coupongirl99 I felt the same way when I found out Ancaster was just one of a few store locations that were testing the Walmart bag-free policy (I went on Twitter to get confirmation). A cashier had told me it was nationwide (but it had not been stated in any flyer, just on little signs at cashier stations).

I purchased a $1 medium coffee yesterday (Nova Scotia) and the sticker was on the cup. I also combined it with the 'Free Medium French Fries with a $1 purchase" whenever the Rapters score a three-pointer. Medium coffee and medium fries for $1....good deal.

100PTS for every $1 spend. 2000PT needed for any size coffee and 4000PT for any size latte. Sticker system was better. With new system you have to spend min $20 before you can redeem for a free coffee.

should be 1kpts per Dollar, then it would be a bit better, the pt/$ relative to the pts needed for redemption are insane.
100 points with every $1• Quarter Pounder with Cheese® Extra Value Meal
14,000 PointsChoose from:
• Big Mac® Extra Value Meal
• McChicken® Extra Value Meal
• 10-pc Chicken McNuggets®
so at current rate it would take ~140$ to get a free trio worth ~10
that's not worth it
