For doing 2021(year) taxes, CRA will open their NETFILE on Monday, February 21, 2022.
My Timeline for 2021 tax year was -
February 23, 2022 - Netfiled
March 3, 2022 - NOA available online and Direct Deposit of Refund in the bank.
Return showed ASSESSED immediately after filing, and Express NOA was also immediately available. This thread is currently associated with: N/A

There wad a $5 coupon like this one UFAB89FADQ but it expired a few weeks back.
Maybe something similar will come back.
Sometimes your bank or mobile operator will send you a code in email or internal message system for 20% off or something.
Anyone can use that code. You need not ve a customer of that bank or cell phone provider.
So you can use your friends and family code too. So watch out for those.

Use the free software to do your taxes. Need not Netfile, if you don't want to.
At the end of it, it gives you the option to save the taxes done in a PDF format on your computer hard drive.
That saved PDF is exactly like the forms and package you get in mail from CRA.
When your package comes in mail, you can just copy down the numbers & figures from the PDF and mail it in, instead of doing it manually.

I believe that the CAI will have more info once Parliament has a budget presented. The actual information page only got updated late Feb or early March despite my seeing ads on the Weather Network app for the CAI benefit! A CRA friend has said there has not been info on the change to quarterly payment (at work) but I sent her the link when I found the updated info.

If there are Ontario members with family members who have stalled on printing out their college T2202A forms from school, get them to do so ASAP. Im aware that college members may be going back on strike over contract talks (work-to-rule) later this month (perfect way to mess with final exams). Students have to have funds on their account or student ID cards in order to print out their forms from college computers.
Or students will have to have access to own printing equipment or funds on a library card to use at a public library terminal to print or e-print documents.
