    Hi everyone,

I need a little help with a craft that I plan on doing for my dd 1st birthday.

It's going to be Halloween related...so I decided that we would give each child a canvas bag to decorate...

What I need help with is finding a stencil or template that would have "happy halloween" and a picture of a pumpkin or ghost or witch...

I was at Michaels earlier and the girl told me to just print something on the computer but to make sure that the wording is backwords so it would be proper when it's put on the bag...

All crafty advice will be greatly appreciated...

Is 1yr old enough to do crafts like that? You could also try googling for Halloween coloring pages, and try to use those as templates for something. Or maybe you can get some felt and pre-cut out some Halloween shapes to glue on, and they can glue on googly eyes and stuff.

Hmm best I can think of is stensils or something similar?

I can see what you mean about printing something off being a bit tricky so I'm afraid I am of no help there sorry.

I'm sure someone will be along soon to offer up better help just wanted you to know I'd read and replied but was just as stumped ... sorry LOL

Are you planning on ironing on a pattern? If so, there are transfer pencils or transfer paper you can buy to do that. Oh, LOL I forgot - these days with computers (sheesh I'm old!) you can get iron-on transfer paper for inkjet printers, lol!
Otherwise, for patterns, looking at colouring pages/templates usually gives a big enough pattern -

Just start googling til you find something which will suit what you want to use!
