Hi Prue,
Could you send me the customer relations number? I am fed up with my rogers service right now. Its just the time of year when I am looking for a job and I have voice messages on my phone but I can't access them and the tech support guy tried all he could and can only semi promise me that a higher tech can take a look into the issue sometime over 48 hrs or so. I keep dropping calls at least once a day, its really frustrating. I don't know if its the halifax area as when I was in fred'ton I had no missed calls but in Halifax its daily.

Prue.... A question for you.
I've heard that Rogers High Speed, while faster then my existing service, throttles Bittorrent downloads. As a user of Bittorrent, is this true? If so, how badly would they decrease?

Yes Rogers does throttle torrents and the speeds they allow are slow... but there are ways around that. I will pm you!

Hi Prue, I'm looking for an hardware upgrade and when I checked my account online I find my upgrade price I'll have to pay will be the same as new subscribers.
Do you think I can get a even better deal than that, or if the $35 admin. fee can be waived?
I looked at the other posts and saw that some members didn't receive their new phones even after 3 months! That's unacceptable. Normally how long does it take for a new phone to arrive? (I'm in Vancouver).
And if there's something wrong with the new phone, do I need to ship it back to Rogers at my own costs?
Thanks.

Hey, sorry littlevampire as per the update on the first post, I no longer work for Rogers - left so that I could have more time to devote to teachers college and my student placements!

Hi Prue, sorry that I've overlooked that since I've been away for quite sometime. My mistake. Good luck with your work!

O.K., my husband bought a nice cell phone from this guy (who was in need of money) at the time he said it was still activated but we needed to buy minutes card. Tried that ,,, didn't work, tried to get my girlfriend to activate it (she works for diff company),,, apparently we needed his password and postal code,,,, we have neither. How much will it cost me to get this thing activated if I go directly to Rogers?? Will they even activate it for me?? Really nice phone,, would love to be able to use it. Thanks for your help.

Hey! I just wanted to update the thread to let everyone know I am no longer working for Rogers. I decided not to work for my final year at university so that I could enjoy teachers college!
I had posted this update message in the original thread, but thought maybe best to post in a new message incase people don't re-read the original post!
