First the Jays win 10 - 3,

and the Leafs just scored the 1st goal against Ottawa just 4 minutes in.

Well, I think we're lucky to be tied 1 - 1 after the first.
So far, Ottawa has really outplayed us; out skated, out passed & out fore checked.
Hopefully, the Leafs will pick it up a bit in the 2nd.

That was a much better 2nd period; faster & the hockey really opened up.
Unfortunately, Ottawa scored a lucky goal, off one of our players, with a minute left.
Personally, I found the period exhausting, & that's just watching.
Keep going Leafs. One period to go.

Leafs made it close, but unfortunately, just fell a little short.
They were really coming on in the last half of the third period, but just could not find the right combination to go ahead.
You have to give Ottawa a lot of credit though, for the intensity of their game.
Looking at the game realistically, however, they deserved to win based on overall play in the game.
Personally, I can't wait for the Feb 27th game against Montreal.
That should be a barn burner!

Nice win for Montreal tonight against NYR, a shut out as well. Montreal is really playing good hockey.
