Well, this was a very disappointing night. The Toronto teams both su*cked !! Boston really took it to Toronto.
Bruins take the 1st game 4 - 1.
Red Socks take the Jays 10 - 1.

Fan Exam - James Reimer
Feeling unknown and you're all alone, flesh and bones by the telephone,
lift up the receiver, I'll make you a believer!
Take second best, put me to the test, things on your chest, you need to confess!
I will deliver, you know I'm a forgiver!

Jays played a great game the night before, but needed to beat the hottest pitcher in baseball, Clay Buchholz, but they could not do it as he dominated! Hitting and starting pitching have failed us thus far this season. Another few games and 20% of the season will have gone by. We cannot be saying it is early much longer as the Red Sox are starting to runaway from our division!
I mentioned something in my rant a few days ago about the Leafs and that was keeping shots down against Reimer, and what happened last night is the Bruins had 40 shots on Reimer. You are not going to win many games when that happens unless the goalie stands on his head and honestly, Reimer did that last night and still it was not good enough! What is wrong when Fraser and Phaneuf (23+ min) lead all Leafs with the most ice time minutes and Kadri and Kessel (your 2 best players) play 4th line minutes (both under 14 minutes of ice time). Kessel cocooned against his former team and poor Reimer was left to fend for himself the whole night, so I can forgive the kid for some mistakes, but when there is suppose to be a team in front of you, how is it that 40 shots are allowed, when your offence only had 20 on Rask? The Leafs looked lost and played very undisciplined hockey! Could be a quick series if they continue to play like that!!
BTW, I got my tickets for Habs vs Sens Game 4 at Scotia Bank Place in Ottawa/Kanata! Can't wait as my son and I are going!Last edited by habs rule; Thu, May 2nd, 2013 at 02:35 AM.

Habs, I think your post is pretty accurate.
The Leafs looked like a minor hockey team last night, outplayed big time. Reimer did well, & seemed to be the only player that showed up most of the game. I hope it was a good lesson for them.
As for the Jays, the Tues. night game is what I expect to see every game, but was really disappointed last night.
I'm sure you & your son will have a great time @ the game, win or lose.

Johnson to DL; Romero Starts
The Blue Jays announcing starter Josh Johnson has been put on the 15-Day DL with right triceps inflammation, retroactive to April 29.
As a result, Brad Lincoln has been recalled from AAA and Ricky Romero will make his season debut, starting Friday against the Seattle Mariners.
OMG - I guess they're desperate; a good game to miss.

A sincere thanks to all for the codes until today.
A problem at work had me working double shifts for Monday and Tuesday, but it is now resolved.
Finally, I can relax.
Have tomorrow off, so I can enjoy the luxury of a long weekend at last.
Perhaps I will be able to take care of some things around the house for a change.
Cheers all.
Enjoy your weekend everyone
