I don't know if any of you are watching the All Star pregame & game, but when they brought Joe Morgan, Jonny Bench, Sandy Koufax, Hank Aaron, Pete Rose & Willie Mays out onto the field, I found that I would never have recognized any of them.
I spent years watching them, a huge fan of each of them, but they're looking so old and out of shape. Joe was using a cane, & Willie needed an attendant to help him stand / walk.
Personally, I found it very sad, almost disturbing, to see such wonderful athletes, in such poor condition.
I know none of us are as we were in our youth, but that ceremony really hammered it home; hit me like a sledge hammer.

Time has an effect on all of us after 35 years.
I only wish I was 35 again today, but we all know that time never marches backward. That will never happens.
Enjoy where you are today and don't live in the past.
Yesterday will never come back so enjoy each day today as another that you have been fortunate to live.
It's always a great day when you wake up on the right side of the grass.
