I was out shovelling.
Wouldn't you know it, the 1st significant snow fall of the season, & I'm house sitting.
So not only do I have to do my driveway, but their's too.
I'm sore & exhausted. I think I'll go soak in the tub for awhile.

Wouldn't you know it, the 1st significant snow fall of the season, & I'm house sitting.
So not only do I have to do my driveway, but their's too.
I'm sore & exhausted. I think I'll go soak in the tub for awhile.

Have I mentioned lately, I HATE WINTER !!!

I spent 2 1/2 hours snowblowing this morning.
My wife brought me a coffee, but I found a couple beer in the truck and enjoyed the cold beer much better and more refreshing.
Nothing like an ice cold beer tickling your tonsils when you are really hot and sweaty.
First time that I attempted something this strenuous since I hurt my back.
Feel good for the first time in a long, long while

Beer ? Wouldn't have thought of it. Came in, had a hot chocolate, sweating, but body really chilled.
Sat in a HOT tub for awhile & did have that glass of wine.

The secret is to dress up really warm before you start. That way when you work up a sweat you are never cold, just hot and ready for a cool one.

I do have a snow blower, but it hasn't been used in about 5 years.
Maybe I should get my son to show me how to use it, what gas it takes, etc.
Can't be that difficult.
