I am finding the Blue Jays exciting to watch. It's been a very interesting season. I sometimes wonder how Alex Anthopoulos pulls off these incredible feats.
I'm remembering how Paul Godfrey got the ball rolling all those many years ago. Isn't it great that Toronto really is a baseball town. Way back when they were having a name the dome contest, my submission was Toronto Sunnyside Place. I thought for historical reasons & because it is located on the sunny side of town.

Stole 49 bases last year and was NL hits leader !

We now have a legitimate left fielder with speed who plays defense well and can hit and steal bases.

If this comes about AA has to be the GM of the year.

Toronto acquires RHP Mark Lowe from Seattle in exchange for LHPs Jake Brentz, Rob Rasmussen and Nick Wells

The outfield, particularly the left side, may not have been the glaring hole that was the bullpen and starting pitching, but nevertheless, it was a hole and Alex Anthopoulos may have moved to fill it with Phillies outfielder Ben Revere.

Neither team has announced a move, however. While the Blue Jays make sense as a possible landing spot for Revere, nothing’s official.
Revere, 27, is a speedy, left-handed hitting outfielder with range in the outfield and some ability to reach base. However, he has next to no power — just three career home runs in 2,414 career plate appearances — and a weak throwing arm.
Revere’s batting .298 with a .334 on-base percentage and a .374 slugging percentage in 388 plate appearances this season. Those marks are in line with his career batting line of .292/.326/.345, and represent an improvement over his 2014 numbers, though he led the NL in hits with 184 last year.

The Toronto Blue Jays received cash considerations in trading LHP Felix Doubront to the Oakland A's.

Don't be surprised if Ben Revere will be playing centre for us, once he is use to Rogers Field, as that is what he was in Minnesota, although he has played both there and LF in Philly. I would platoon Pillar/Carrera to left anyways as Pillar is a very good outfielder, but he can't hit!.
