ExpiredJust got back from Walmart. They have ziploc big bags 2 pack(1 XL and 1 XXL) on clearance for $3.00. I bought 8 and used the $4.00 coupons for each. The cashier took off the full $4.00 and applied the overage to my other purchases!

Life's Little Instructions: Think big thoughts but cherish simple pleasures, never refuse homemade brownies, remember other people's birthdays, floss your teeth, return all things you borrow and leave everything a little better than you found it.

It would depend what you're putting in them I guess but I've always found them really sturdy. They're kind of a pain to seal, I wish they had the zipper top.
The plastic is very similar to the plastic you put over basement windows during the winter, if that makes any sense. It's really thick.

It would depend I guess what you use them for. I am terrifed that at some point my children will get head lice so being the anal person I am, I send one to daycare to put my son's coat, snowpants, boots, etc. in to keep them away from the other children's clothing. I do the same for my daughter at school.
I have also used them to put out of season clothes in.
I love them
