The cosplayers are sad to lose access to the cosplay fabrics, and sewists and seamsters and knitters are sad to lose their local supply stores and staff.

I spotted a Youtube short that lent an interesting insight about the financial straits-the money borrowed by the firm that acquired Joann Fabrics is roughly the amount Joann Fabrics owes. The firm passed the financing responsibility to the chain even though the firm borrowed the money for the acquisition.

Elections Canada posted on X that voter cards should be delivered by April 11, 2025. Voting day is April 28. Advance voting polls will be open on April 18 through 21. Riding offices can accept voters until the day before election day. https://elections.ca/home.aspx
Finalized candidate lists for all ridings were posted today.

Since I do not have photo id with an address, I require my voter card to be paired with other id in order to vote at the riding office, a bus ride away.
