If you absent-mindedly put your car in drive and try to start it, it won't start. If you tell yourself "Oh yeah, I need to be in reverse!" it still won't start. If you put it back in park and call CAA, it will magically start in the middle of the call. If you still don't clue in to what you did and you take your car to your mechanic, he'll do a diagnostic test, which will say it's time to replace your battery. Then he'll say, "This doesn't sound like a battery issue. Maybe your car wasn't all the way in park when you tried to start it." This will force you to calmly say, "Yeah...that's probably it," while inwardly you're face palming!

To always make sure you clean up the Mastiff poop before using the weedwacker. Oh ya, and to wear safety glasses so when you hit said poop, the missile won't go in your eyes. Your mouth is another story.
