i changed it to 10 seconds

this time delay is useful in certain situations:
- if someone tries to automatically flood the forum with infinite messages to ruin it they get delayed and can't do much damage
- it gives people a chance to think before posting

Thanks Boo. I also think some delay is good because if I accidently hit submit twice (which i've done ) it prevents a duplicate post!

I don't have a problem with it Boo. I understand your rationale. It would also help with those people who only go to new topics and say thank you without even reading or clicking on the links. I have only been here a very short time, but I notice that there is a lot of this going on. Not all people do it, but I wonder why those that do it, do. Strange.
