I don't bother to PM at London Drugs anymore. It's too much of a hassle - both for me and the cashiers - with them having to call the stores to see if the item is in stock. Not worth it!

I think we praised RO CS a little too much! But thankfully they are still letting us stack, so I should just SHUT UP and say THANK YOU! No point complaining about PM on top of that!
I had great luck at RO this morning. no price matching just stacking the 2 $4 coupons for the Gillette sets. I do notice better service during the day then at night but i have also read comments about them not wanting us to bring the kids in so its kind of a "6 of one thing, half dozen of another" if you know what I mean.
I should add I always use to have great service from the night staff untill lately and I have not seen those cashiers for awhile.
Does anyone know what it is like to shop Brentwood, 130th ave se, or Richmond Rd locations?
I have gone to brentwood and stacked no problem. no price matching though. I believe Goddess's usual store is Richmond and I am guessing she doesnt price match either.
The Richmond Road LD is my usual one and they are wonderful! Judy and Nermala are such sweeties, as are all of the staff members I've encountered there.
They will price match, but MommyMelanie is right - I don't bother with it anymore. With them having to call every store you're matching to, asking them if they have xyz product in stock, it makes it a very slow, frustrating process. I hope they rescind that policy, as I think it must be a real PITA for the staff!
when I have price matched at ld they never called walmart to see if they had it in stock. however that was when the better cashiers at night were on. now with the experience i have had lately , i dont bother. i am just happy to be getting it so cheap.
Is there a number I can call about not getting flyers because I've noticed that my flyer person has not been delivering them for a while now :shrug:...missing out on the good deals
the customer service cashiers at Brentwood don't round the coupons down to 99 cents so you can't get items for free because they say 'it's fraud and other stores shouldn't be rounding them' :shrug:... it's not like they're loosing any money because they are being reimbursed for every coupon they honor but there's only one cashier I've been lucky to get she round them down all the other ones will make you pay the 99 cents..Quote:

It is certianly NOT fraud
It can be hard for the cashiers right now as it's so close to christmas. The best thing I can say is be organized before you get to the till and re-read your coupons to verify validity.
I know it can get very frusterating if we don't have our stuff together
I have a rule If i'm at the till and I can't find a coupon i'll tell the chashier to just move on and I'll pay for it or I'll just put it back. The fact is I don't have my stuff lined up. Price matching just makes it worse (it's so hard tring to keep several big flyers hand for PMing AND coupon stacking .
I know many of you may not like what I'm going to say but
I think price matching at LD should be gone.
(I'm not saying i don't price match)
The fact is everytime I go to LD I get around $125-&150 in product for $10-$20!

If LD had to choose between price matching and coupon stacking what would you prefer?
I had a horrible time @ LD RO last night. I thought I had all my coupons lined up and go to check out and guess what G decides, she is going to come check all my stuff! She and I don't get along. I don't know if she just doesn't like me or is it my color! Anyways, she wants me to hurry up and have all my coupons next to the item. I wanted to get the GW and had my coupons as groups of 4(PM to Zellers). She read the flyer 4 times and she ok, and than although no one was behind me, she kept saying we have a lineup! I need to be more organized and what not. I have been having issues at home, and honestly although this is weird, doing the couponing had been my stress reliever. Anyways, so I had it in groups of 4 and wanted to use the coupons: $5, and 6x$1.50, she said put the coupon next to each item, why are doing it in groups of 4, when you have coupons for only 3 items...I am like, well the total of 4 = $8 and I am giving u coupons for $8-> to me that was straight forward, but nopes, She kept saying I am not organized and all. Than I had the GW detergent, from an old raincheck for $6.99. So, I give her the coupons in group of 3-> and she is like you can use the $3+$3 to get one for $6, but not the 3 for free. She kept saying I am not organized, how others are only spending 5 mins and me 30 and what not. I felt like saying: we will move faster if you stop questioning me and start just putting it in the system. Than she told me I could not use the $5 off any 3 for Gillette on the gift set. Although I was buying 2 gift set + 1 deo. And I was like, ok just take it off. And she gave me the dirtiest look and how I don't know what I am doing. I was like, well others have done it and how do I know. It doesnot have any exclusions!
I know they hate to have us come on weekend and at night, but that's the only night H could watch the kids and I didn't want my coupons to expire to wait for an after christmas deal! Maybe I am all screwed up, and if someone can please volunteer to come with me next time I shop to help teach me!
findme, what time did you go last night? I was there around 7:30pm and I got a really young girl at the customer service desk. She allowed me to use the $5 off any 3 gillette with the gift sets. I also just got back from LD today and another lady allowed the same thing (in front of what I think was an off duty supervisor). I'm sorry to hear the cashier was giving you an undeserved hard time.
It shouldnt of been that hard to stack the greenworks. I did it last week for the wipes. and I was in and out in like 5 mins. I know Mission has issues with G too. we need to find out when she is scheduled to work and avoid that store. I think she just hates us saving money and getting stuff for next to nothing. I just try to keep them happy as I don't want to lose stacking.
I was at Heritage today and a new (well he's been there 3 months) has changed their policy to only allowing one item PM'd. I ended up leaving a bunch of things on the counter as my coupons were when you buy 2. I cashier appologized saying if it was up to her she would have put them through but she needed his over ride to do it. I still ended up with my biggest savings yet though :). Spent $24 and change with savings of about $250 lol. Still love LD even if some are trying to make it more difficult.
