Great, so glad I found my coupie trading partner already, kittyboots would love to have you too, rjsomers; if your swaddler cpns can be used on babydry diapers, I would love some.

I am sure a lot of us have a bunch of fast expiring coupons to spare and that is what this get-together is all about. (well, besides meeting some of our wonderful sc'ers) After all, a person's junk could become another's treasure.

The trade is going to be on either Tuesday(25th) or Wednesday(26th) night, somewhere in the NW around 8:30 pm. So that leaves a few days to actually USE the May expiry. Many ppl are away this long weekend, I will wait till Monday night when everyone has a chance to check this thread and see who's coming, then we can decide on the exact time and place.

Just a suggestion for the NW coupon trading night... we could meet at the Royal Oak McDonalds (inside the Wal-Mart). London Drugs is right next store and open until 11pm, and Sobeys is across the parking lot if anyone wants to grab the free bag of potatoes (printable coupon in Coupons thread).

I could be wrong but I always thought the Mcdonalds insdie walmart close earlier (not sure what time) though walmart open till 11pm, that's why I suggested starbucks because Chapters close at 11 pm too. I am ok either way, Royal Oak is actually closer to me.

Whatever works for others would be great for me as long as it is in the NW.

Just called McDonalds, they are closing at 10 pm. That should be enough time for the swap. I don't think there are going to be a lot of ppl attending.

Starbuck at Chapters Crowfoot closes at 10:30 pm.

Sorry Mission I won't be able to come, its just too far for me to get to so late. (I know its not really that late, but once you have 2 kids under the age of 2, 9:30 is my bedtime!) Hope you guys have fun though!!!!

I totally understand, monkeyincowtown, just like I so wanted to attend yours, but I have to get back to NW for nap time and pick up kid from school.

Maybe some other times, when the kids are older I am just glad that I can meet some fellow SC'er and they are all so nice and easy-going.

What are the major cross streets for that wal-mart?

I will see if I can make it - depends on kids etc. Hopefully can head out after I get them to bed. I stay up late anyways so might as well be out - if hubby doesn't complain about having to parent.

It is country Hill blvd. W. I am not sure whereabout you are coming from, if you come from the NE, you can take Stoney Trail W and exit at country Hill Blvd W and sobeys and walmart would be on your right hand side after the first set of light. Stoney trail is quite fast, it usually takes me abt 10 mins to go to beddington trail from royal oak.

I hope to make it but again grumpy hubby may nix y plan but he owns me since today is my birthday and it wasn't as great as it could have been.

Yes I would be Taking my favorite ring road!! Travel pretty much daily as I work in Airdrie or Crowfoot or Coach Hill or Aspen Landing or Springbank and live in the far NE.
