ExpiredSorry if this is in the wrong spot but I thought it would be great to have an ongoing list of stores and websites that feature low prices, discount items and generally can save you money.
I have saved tons of money by shopping at places like these so I wish to share them with everyone.
If you have any places you wish added to this list then just post em and Ill add them.
I will get the ball rolling with a few places:
Factory Direct - www.factorydirect.ca - they have many store locations and you can also order many of their things online. They have a huge selection of items, including refurbished items, you can save a ton of money here!
XS Cargo - www.shopxscargo.com - Another excelent store they deal in close out merchendise, refurbished and new items, unbeatable prices and many locations.
Deal Extreme - www.dealextreme.com - This is a site out of china that deals in a ton of different gadgets and items, all very low prices and shipping is free, i shop here just for fun some days. Since its from china it will take a couple weeks to get your items but for the price you really cant complain.
Surplus Stores - www.kwsurplus.com - this one has a few locations but Im sure you can find a similar one near you, huge selection of all sorts of stuff, the best place to go for camping supplis, they also carry computers, audio, housewares, staionary, pretty much anything under the sun and the lowest prices youll find.
Liquidation Stores: Such as Liquidation World, no website for these but if you do a search in your local directory you are bound to find one, they carry all sorts of things and will save you all sorts of money.
ShiningBeam - www.shiningbeam.com - Need a flashlight? you wont beat these, this store carries a large selection of the best LED flashlights to meet any need or budget, these flashlights are brighter then anything compairable youll find in stores, they sall regular AA flashlights for avrage users all the way up to high performence cr123 or 18650 lithium cell lights for enthusiasts or professionals. Ive bough several from here and this store is really reliable and the owner is great.
Factory Shoe - www.factoryshoe.ca - reat place to get shoes for less, they have several location in ontario and often have some good deals, my g/f got a pair of brand new nike running shoes for 15$ there, after all why pay full price for shoes?
Princess Auto Surplus Dept. - www.princessauto.com - Find some good deals here for auto equipment, tool and more, and enjoy free coffee while you shop. They have the best return policy. You can return anytime as long as you still have the receipt. (Thanks to Vegan for this one!)
Thats my list for now, if you have any additions then please let me know and I will add them to the list!
Feel free to stick this mods!

I love Factory Direct, I got a 400GB SATA Hard Drive for $50 roughly I think - which fit nicely into the external container I had from the 500GB one I fried, haha. Usually good deals on memory cards for cameras and stuff too.
XS Cargo is sometimes good, but I find most of their stuff is junky. KW Surplus is decent (been to the one in Kitchener & Stratford), depending on what you're looking for... Forest City Surplus (in London) tends to be a little better though overall, if you're looking for computer stuff.
Random note... KW Surplus, XS Cargo & Factory Direct are all on the same street in Kitchener!!! And the Factory Direct in Kitchener and London are both beside McDonalds, LOL!

Glad you approve, cheers!
Their great stores arent they? weve saved so much money by shopping there, you can easily save 50% on many things if not more.
Hehe yes I used to live in kitchener, victoria stree is a great place for bargains, theres also a Factory Shoe (i should add that to the list) right by the surplus. In stratford there is a K-W Surplus Stratford right by the Giant Tiger.
About you HD, make sure its not your enclosurecausing it to ovheat often the enclosures cause alot of heat buildup if their not well vented.

Princess Auto surplus department sometimes has really cheap stuffs, and enjoy free coffee while you shop. They have the best return policy. You can return anytime as long as you still have the receipt.

Just a suggestion: this thread should at least be copied onto the section:
Canadian Stores: Reviews (1 Viewing)
Share information about in-store and online stores; Write your compliments, complaints and reviews.
(even though some stores may not be based in Canada they do sell to Canada).

not a bad idea I may copy it there, but this is more about finding places to get stuff for less then it is about revewing stores.
