I sent my mom to purchase gillette fusion razors for $7.49 and use $5 coupons. It says that tax is covered by the coupon. So does that make it $5 plus tax or less then $5 b/c of the taxes. If it's more and they charged the taxes I will go back on tuesday and get money.
I hope this makes sense. This thread is currently associated with: N/A

The value of the coupon is $5 only. If the item were on sale for say $4.50 than the extra $0.50 would towards taxes. In this case the you would have to pay $2.49 (plus any taxes) after using the $5 coupon.
($7.49 x Taxes )- $5 (coupon) = $x.xx (not sure what the taxes are in Manitoba so can't do the math for you...)
So long story short you would only save $5 (taxes included).
Hope that helps.

thanks! That makes sense.
($7.49x12%(.89)=8.38-$5= $3.38
So still not bad for gillette fusion! I got 6 shavers for $20.38
