I set out today to deliver my baskets. It was so much fun!!!.
As I went through the door the greeter was going to sticker my bag - then asked if it was a birthday gift or something? I told her who it was for and asked if she was working....another lady ran to the beauty section on a "fake" customer question just to make sure she was there. They were so excited I was giving this to her....they said she would cry for sure!
I told her I had something for her - the look on her face was priceless when I showed her the basked. Total shock! She did have tears in her eyes and was so thankful - hugged me a few times and kissed the littleone. We would talk for a few minutes then out of the blue she would say she was still in shock. She told me she even mentioned me to her co-workers when previously gave her coupons LOL. She couldn't wait to show them the basket.
I delivered my second basket as well - I didn't have much time for delivery as the first basket because this lady was a cashier and had customers waiting. I told her I had something for her and gave her my basket.....She was shocked as well. I told her it was a little thank you for putting up with me and my coupons without grumbling. The only thing was I had to ask the manager if she could keep it....she said they were not allowed to accept gifts. Luckly the manager was close by and I told her that I wanted to give the lady a little something as a thank you for being so kind and putting up with me, etc. and the manager said she could keep it. I was just as happy as she was!
Since I have alot of freebies and have gotten alot of deals lately - I have decided to make a couple of ROAK baskets to give away.
One basket will be given to a lady in the Health and Beauty Section at Walmart. She is very nice and was absolutely amazed when I gave her a couple of coupons....she couldn't get over that someone was actually giving her something......She'll probably make me cry when I give her the basket. She said she will be retiring next month so this will make a nice surprise.
The second basket is for another Walmart buddy - I have a special cashier I go to when I redeem most of my coupons. She is very patient with me and my coupons. She seems quiet and a little over worked - so I figure she needs a little pick me up.
The next basket I plan on making will be for the little one's school as Mother's day prize.

Instead of putting a ripped box for the Glade refills - I decided to wrap them up instead:

I'm sure they are going to be totally surprised. I hope to deliver them before Easter.

Looks fabulous! I'm starting to wish I were a nice cashier working at a Halifax Walmart.

What an amazing idea!! I am sure they will love it. They are probably so overworked and under appreciated. I think I will do this when I get enough items!

That is such a sweet thing to do! I know you are going to make their day when they see what you have done for them. I love RAOK! It really warms your heart to see it happen and then someone else passes it on as well
