My Deal of the weekend

I took my older dd to the next city with a friend to watch a movie, I was going to meet a friend for lunch

I gave dd my free movie ticket from the Shoppers (buy $75 event) and she took her own pop and chips from home. Cost for movie $0.00

I meet my friend for lunch who paid for lunch Cost for Lunch $0.00

I then went to the mall with coupons in hand, trying to buy some clothes for our upcoming vacation and well couldn't find ANYTHING at all and i tried really really hard.

DD did find a really cute grad dress (Grade 8) (she just started looking) and they were 50% off at sears before noon, so $80 dress was going to be $40 and then i had a $5.00 sears shoppers card, so we were at $35, we get to the till and they said it was another 30% off, so dd got an $80 dress for $23.00 and it is super cute

So me $0.00 and i tried to spend money and dd $23 on a great dress

Super deal...I shudder to think what my parents paid for my grad dress...not to mention my wedding dress...eek!
