I was in Dollerama in Brampton yesterday, one of my kids noticed Pinata's.
They had a Madagascar 2 or a Barbie Magic of pegasus Pinata for $2.00 each.
I think this is a great deal as Pinata's can get very expensive.
They are very similar to Pinata's you can buy at party stores, the ones at Dollerama seem to be a folded flat and you have to expand them once they are opened.
Good deal if you have a party coming up.

Oh, they're sold empty? Interesting. This is actually a good thing, I wouldn't be giving a kid candy from a dollar store!

We were to a birthday party yesterday where they had a pinata, but instead of beating it you just pulled some strings. It didn't work fabulous, but I liked the concept instead of giving a room full of toddlers a baseball bat.

Wonder if the dollar stores in my area carry pinata. My son really wants one for his birthday!

My dd bought one for granddaughters b-day and it was extremely hard to break the kids all 8 and 9 ended up asking grandpa to help out and it took him a couple of whacks!!! It was alot of fun though she added the candy btw.

What is "pinata"?

I have always found that pinata's are way harder to break open than we think, we have used them many times and we always take a steak knife and cut along a few seems and make a few slits along the rest of the pinata so the little ones have a chance to break it, also found it is much better to hang over a tree or over the garage door tracks, holding it on the end of a broom or a hockey stick seems like a good idea, but if you've ever watched America's funniest home video's you will see that rarely works out well for the person holding it
