No, they'll get their 5000 points regardless of whether he shops. He will not, however, get ANY points (for either himself or the 10 referrals) if he does not shop.

Group 2: Shopped yesterday .. had a couple bumps as I shopped with the wrong optimum card :confused: but went back today and had it refunded and resold to the proper registered optimum card... What a mess!!! All fixed now though.. Thanks Cyanne & Rachel for the advice !!
Subtotal was $35.61 before tax and after $28.00 in coupons !!!! :-)

So $35 of your total, but $28 of that was coupons? So you only "spent" $7? I didn't think it worked that way.

I think she did it right. Subtotal was 35 AFTER $28 in coupons. At least thats how I read it.

Group 12 - Shopped today with subtotal $32.98

I got smarter this time around and asked for the subtotal before I paid. Last time, I was just under $20 before taxes and it was annoying to ask for a refund, then find a filler item to purchase.

I think you misread my post.. it was $35.61 after coupons so my total would have been $63.61 plus taxes. Your total has to be $30.00 no matter what :-)

I had problems like that last time - my card was lost so I registered and shopped with DHs card for the SC groups. But I wanted the spouse points. When they issued me my new card it took until after the event for them to get it "online" for me to access it. They were good about it and honored the points for DH referring me.

By my calculations we are waiting for one more shopper for group #2!! YEAH!!!
