Today it snowed so I made a crockpot of bean soup and served it with garlic toast andcoriander naan.
Chicken legs were on at No Frills for $1/lb today. I bought 10 packs since my DH would happily eat it for every meal if he could. Going to steam them and throw them on the barbecue.
Pineapple marinaded pork chops, potatoes and carrots.
Lasagna, pork scallopini, tossed salad and garlic bread.
What an awesome find! How do you steam them? I always worry about BBQing chicken - I've attempted to pre-cook a bit in the nuker, but that's a hassle.
Tonight we had wagonwheel pasta with tomato sauce, with canned beans - tried Clark's for the first time, they are pretty good and might give Heinz a run for their money in our house.
I made hamburger steak with peppercorn sauce, garlic mashed potatoes, beans and carrots.
Last night we had Veggie Pasta with a light cream sauce, great to use up a few veggies that needed to be used.
Yeah, it was a great find- and no limit on them. The average price for a package of 8 legs was about $2.25:eek:. I just steam them in a steaming basket over pot of boiling water, for about 20 mins, until the juices run clear. I find the chicken has much more flavor and is more tender if it is steamed before it's put on the barbecue.

Kitchen was totally clean, so there was no way I was going to cook and make a mess - :tongue: - so we had Mickey D's. This weekend, they are donating to Fort Mac for every Big Mac sold. So I had one, and fries; husband had two Quarter Pounders with cheese and fries.
I made homemade pizza too.
