Last night we had Flamingo BBQ chicken wings with sour cream (to cut down the heat), oven fries and i used a whole Boston Lettuce with cucumber sliced and a whole Beefsteak tomato and Balsamic Vinegrette.
Tonight for supper im making a Fernandiere Bacon Meat Loaf (meat loaf already made, ready to cook) with mashed potatoes, broccoli, gravy, and Cesar salad. Dessert will be a Strawberry Swirl Cheesecake i picked up the other day while shopping.
Thank you for all the kind words. The nursing staff there are checking her at least twice a day so I guess only time will tell.
Tonight we are making crock pot back ribs. When they are done we are going to pull out the bones and then put a bit more sauce on them and finish them off under the broiler. My wife is making home made buns which we will put the ribs in so I guess it will be a copykat McRib sandwich. She also is making potato salad as a side

Tonight Falafal skewers with onion, peppers and mushrooms on rice with salad.
Lazy day today. Hubby isnt feeling well so probably just some chicken soup with crackers.

yesterday I roasted a chicken with stuffing and made mashed potato, mashed turnip, carrots, green peas, gravy, etc..there's lots leftover for today so just need to reheat later

I could not believe how amazing the Pork Chops turned out after being soaked overnight in Buttermilk. They just fell apart...super tender. I just did them up in shake and bake and served them with Baked Potato, Sour Cream, Cranberry sauce and Cream Corn. I had Sweet Potato Pie with crumble topping for dessert. I didn't put a crust on....just crumble topping and it was a hit. I love the taste of Sweet Potato when it is done up like Pumpkin Pie. I think for tonight's supper I will make Spagettie Pie. I have always wanted to try this. I have ground beef thawed out and lots of Pasta to use up. Tossed salad on the side. Have a good day every one :)
Pepper steak with baked potatos (sour cream, crumbled bacon and green onions) and a nice garden salad (iceberg lettuce, green onions, cucumber slices and some tomato and red pepper). Dessert will be the rest of the Strawberry Swirl Cheesecake.
