Looks awesome as usual KittyPaws :)
We just finished a Sheperds pie for dinner and the best part is somebody else cooked it instead of me LOL
Tonight is honey-mustard glazed ham, and roasted cauliflower risotto (from Sept's Canadian Living)....I can't wait to eat!!!!!
I LOVE this thread ... it gives me ideas to think about when deciding what to make.
:)
my DH made steaks with asparagus inspired by our new Grill It cookbook by Bobby Flay
I guess it's not summer anymore if I'm not afraid to get the oven going and roast a chicken like I did tonight. Finally, some good home cookin'! Last night's supper was airline food... I'm not exactly sure what it was! :-)
Sorry, I just gotta get in one more gassy quip. I thought of it after reviewing the last couple of pages of this thread.
A friend of mine was trying to make the point that passing some gas can actually be a sign of good health. He quoted his grandfather who used to say:
"A farting horse will never tire!
A farting man is the one to hire!"
I presume it was for outside work. ;-)
Italien sausage(if they thaw out, LOL) on the BBQ and pasta made with my new tomato sauce.
If they don't thaw out it's pasta.
Im thinking pizza.... Im tired already and its only 11:30am!! LOL Im not cooking anything major tonight! so frozen pizza it is! and Im gonna pick up a garlic bread too.... bad I know!
Easy dinner tonight...cottage roll and veggies cooked in the crock pot. :P
it's our 8th anniversary tonight ... so maybe something nice? lol
I feel awful today ... sore throat especially so I think I'm just going to do sausages, instant scalloped potatoes and mixed veggies but a bigger part of me prefers take out LOL
A cottage roll is kind of like a boiled ham .... My experience with Cottage Rolls is whenever I decide to make a homemade split pea or yellow pea soup (hey that sounds good) I boil a cottage roll and then use the juices to make my pea soup from it ... plus add some meat too ... Yummy!!
