Last night I pulled a large container of pasta sauce from the freezer that has been taking up space and made some pasta and ceaser salad for dinner. It was a nice late dinner

@Frugalbigmama I did the same with a large ziploc bag of beef stew. ( pulled out around 9 a.m. today and it's frozen solid of course ) so by the time this sucker thaws out I will no longer be interested into turning it into a meat pie. ( feeling too lazy now to mix up a double recipe of pie crust ) Maybe I'll just wait till tomorrow morning, my best energy is always in the early morning.

So after watching both the Maple Buds and the Jays blow their games I was in no mood to make pie crust.
Luckily I found a small package of Puff pastry, thawed and baked it. Set crispy pieces on the top of each serving of stew.
Not too shabby!

I was in the right place at the right time today, I ran down to Costco to grab Ground Beef (on sale this weekend). For a while we have been discussing buying an Air Fryer and the last 2 times we were at Costco they did not have any (my research showed they had the best deal $99.99 for a Ninja AIr Fryer, this one also has great reviews). On a whim I went to look and I got the last one on the self.
Long way of saying tonight we are making Homemade Chicken Fingers in the Air Fryer, with some sort of potatoes (still decided) and Cesar Salad.2022 is going to be my year, the year I find organization in my life and the year I focus on myself,

Last night i made marinated chicken backs that i bought at Super C yesterday morning. Ugh! I didnt like the marinade, not one bit. But i had the string beans and potato and a tomato salad. Hubby liked it.
Tonight i dont have to cook!!!!!!! Yay!!! Its granddaughter number 3's birthday. She is 14 years old and her parents are making a corn roast for the birthday. My daughter asked me to make the potato salad so i did that this morning, just have to mix it before we leave. I love adding dill during summer to potato salad, it gives it that certain something special.

Homemade Burgers, I was going to try Wedges in the Air Fryer but yeah, no, too many other things going on so Chips & Dips it is.
