Went there after work and ran into my mother-in-law. She ended up not thinking she would get to $50 so she gave us some money to pay for her stuff to get the extra points. Turned out she was only $9 away from the $50. The total together was $118 (before coupons and $105 after coupons) and we got 19600 points. I remembered to buy a $50 gc too. I offered to transfer points to my mother-in-laws card but she said no. I am less than 4000 away from the 75,000! A month and a half ago I only had 1100 points because I never ended up shopping on bonus point days because I didn't realize how fast the points add up then! Thanks to SC and the refer a friend event and shopping on the bonus point days I've gotten lots of points!

Hey Trinity, I also just started using my Optimum card again...I only had about 1700 points last month before joining SC. As of today I now have 48,000! Shopping on the bonus points days is really worth it. I only ever buy what is on sale at SDM, otherwise I might as well go to Walmart, Extra Foods, or Zellers for the cheaper everyday prices. I really have saved alot of money these last few weeks, and it's all thanks to this website and the fab information and tips everyone shares.

Pairing up with a partner is a good idea, my sis in law and I do it from time to time (if we do not need $50 worth of stuff on that day). Then we split the points, so we still get the bonus of the extra points!

I only ever buy what's on sale too. Sometimes it's hard to get the $50 on stuff that's a good price!

I too shop mostly on 20X the point days. I figured out one day that in spending 50.00, its like they give you 17.00 back in points. Thats worth it for all of us!

Baby still drinks formula so there is $45 at any given time but a few more months and we will be taking her off it.

We do also use huggies overnights that are only sold at Shoppers, so I could buy 2 of thoese at $15.99 each and I am sure I could spend $20 to make my $50 after we stop with formula
