yep, the card is free. They send promotions to you all the time once they have your email address...obviously to get you in store to buy more stuff.

I got my card about a year ago when they had some free promotion too. I thought they wouldn't accept the coupon since i technically just signed up for one and would not have received the email. The girl didn't care and just gave me the free thing anyway. So it won't hurt to try!

It's a good card to have, I just got a free $12 lipstick a month or so ago. YR always sends out these type of promotion to get you in the store.

the Yves Rocher Sunglasses are out at Toronto Eaton Centre. Apparently they only received 10 (ridiculous).

Instead, they are giving out mini suction cup 'vases' - 3 in a pack. Think test tubes w a large suction cup. lol.

oh and no purchase necessary since some people were skeptical about that. Just walk in with your card and get it.

do they give them right away? i called a couple stores they said you sign up and then have to wait around 4-6 weeks. can anyone confirm that because im headed to the mall right now

I think it's all dependent on if the salesperson cares or not. If the manager is there and you don't have a card yet, who knows.
