There are people ( me ) who sometimes miss contests when they are first posted and then go searching for contests that are closing soon not to miss out. I miss lots of chances at playing for Instant wins this way.
It's also a heads up to get your calculator ready before entering!

It is not arbitrary Bastich... if you say thank you to a few contests and introduce yourself you will be all set. The post count is set to deter spammers from cluttering up the board you love here, so I am sure you understand how necc it is.

Ok, just did a clean of the contest section... took out at least 5 pages of expired contests.. if you see any *october or earlier* contests that I missed feel free to report them. Please do write out the contest month in full somewhere in your post (Title or description).. otherwise the search function will not find it (it won't search short strings) and I end up having to look through all the pages.. I would be embarrased to tell you how much time I just spent looking at the entire contest section to move out expired contests Thanks!!
