I missed the bus!! (AKA Redmouse Express)So I guess my dream of escaping the rural life, hoping on a bus and seeing the beautiful west of Canada has died!! What is a girl to do but stock up on bug stuff!!

Have you seen those tennis racket swatters that have a battery in them and give off an electric charge. LOL My friend bought 2 at the dollar store. They really work, on humans too. Hmmmmmmm. There's a thought. Note to self, keep one on my night table and when DH starts to snore........opps that may backfire since I'm the snorer. Dang.

I emailed the company and told them I loved there lanterns and asked for coupons:
They said no to me
Sent my dad $10 coupon
Sent my MIL $10 coupon
and my DS $16 coupon!!!
But I lucked out in the end because they all gave them to me to use so I will give DS a lamp and a lantern back.

Now we enjoyed a our honeymoon in the "Sticks" of Cape Breton. Had some of the best Clam Chowder I've ever enjoyed. My very good friends run a beautiful Inn in St. Peter - at the south end of the Bras D'or Lakes. Ah to get back to the sticks again.

Would that be the Inn on the Canal?? They have good food there.I was there for the first time for a great St Patty's Day Party with lots of great music.Life is pretty simply here.No traffic or noise,except for the frogs and the russel of the trees.It is where people come to vacation so I guess I am just on one big vacation!!

Yes that's the Bras D'Or Lakes Inn - My Friend married a fellow who is French and is an internationally known chef! - When they retired they moved back to Cape Breton where he began his career and she was born. He's a SPECTACULAR chef! Great people. If you go back - say Hi from Chatham - one of the 6 birthday girls and she'll know who it is!
