Tonight I fixed my Mom`s amber necklace (broken clasp & she wanted it lengthened). I put little gold plated discs between the amber to add a bit of oomph. :)

Thats really pretty Andit!
Come on, SCers, we wanna see your creations!
This past Monday, I had a rose quartz night for me. :)
I've also had some more fun with aventurine, both in yellow & green. I think I might need an intervention soon. :lolsign:
You don't need an intervention, Andit, you need to go into business!
I absolutely ADORE rose quartz!!!
What beautiful stuff you all have created, Boo should open a shop thread for people who want to buy stuff from their SC friends :)
I haven't seen one on here.
Andit, your stuff is just breathtaking. Really what a lovely talent :)
In my neighbourhood, we have some artisans - they're pretty cut-throat. I'd be scared to go into business! :P
I don't suppose you'd like to be my agent - there's rose quartz in it for ya. ;)
Thanks so much, that's very kind of you to say. :flowers:
Andit - think about Etsy!
Since I have been lurking about in this thread ... I decided to post some pics of the latest 'crafty adventures' I have had - I dabble in just about everything (if there is a pattern I will try it), but jewelry like these are relatively new to me. I must have been inspired by the fabulous pieces that have been posted here!
*my pics are a little wonky with color and camera flash ...
First pic: A DIY rosary kit from Wal-Mart ... white pearls with silver everything else ... very time consuming to attach each piece, LOL!
Second pic: Using leftover silver pieces from the rosary kit, I reused an old off-white pearl necklace and a cross pendant to make a choker.
So last night, I got home way past my bedtime, but was so revved up from the concerts that I couldn't unwind. So I stupidly opened a pack of gold plated oval rings (couldn't resist, they were on sale & I figured I'd find a use for them). I started playing with them & this is what I spent my morning doing. I wasn't crazy about it being plain (tho it was nice enough), so I added some green aventurine.
The first pic is the contents of the package. Next is the choker, followed by a bad pic of me wearing it (I really should have changed my clothes & worn something more appropriate :yikes:).
really bad pic and it's not quite finished yet (need to take up the hem, add more poof, and add lace around neck and cuffs) but

Last night's project was carnelian & silver plated chain. I keep getting teased for saying I like playing with chains. :P
I made and sold candles from 2002 to 2006 when I was diagnosed with a brain tumour. I haven't picked it up again since having surgery in 2008, but I do have a fair bit of supplies left that I am itching to start playing with again, so perhaps 2011 will be the year I start things up again :) I am terrible at sewing and painting, but find candlemaking is like baking which I am a pro at, so I enjoy it immensely :)
These are 2 cakes i've made after I took the Wilton's cake decorating classes. The Cars cake was the first cake I made outside of class. Well I only mad the car part, I was so sick of making cake at the time I got my mom to do the cake part.
The farm cake I made over the summer for my papa's 80th birthday which had a farm theme
