RCSS complaint turned into something WONDERFUL

I guess this is a bit of a brag so here goes...
The other day I was at RCSS and saw a conversation-piece patio set that was on clearance for 149.99 (reg 399.99 I think). There was only 1 so I decided to snatch it up. When I went to put it together the next day I took all the pieces out of the box and all hot to trot for the set, broke the box down and stuck it into the recycling box in the rain. I started to take the pieces out of the individual bags (which was a monster job in itself) and found that parts of the chair legs were bent, the back peice didn't slide in properly,the screwdriver thingie that was supposed to put all the screws together snapped in half and so on and so forth. basically it took me over an hour to put maybe 10 bolts into this set. I was about 2 minutes away from throwing it out my patio window so I decided to call the customer service number to complain about the product and to my surpise the rep told me to email some pics of the products and a copy of my recepit and I would get a FULL REFUND! PLUS I got to keep the patio set. I can't wait to get my refund so I can go to RCSS and stock my freezer up with some good deals!
Oh, also, I was at Giant Tiger today and BD cheese blocks..the big ones.. are on for $3.77 instead of $7.77...max 4 per person

YEAH! its totally useable (after my hubby helped me get it together) i was ready to return it somehow but the rep at presidents choice said to keep it and my cheque was on its way

I have the same set. We bought 2 of them and one of the backs of the 2 seater would not go in either. Luckily they exchanged it no questions asked and they had a replacement set for us. Is it the blue one with 2 chairs and a 2 seater plus coffee table?

Anyhooo great result and I hope you enjoy the set. It must have been a manufacturers defect on certain ones.
