Long weekend rep I'm doling out to all you Smart Canucks,
I like the fact that reppin' you, doesn't cost big bucks,
Rep for wearing short shorts that are not short enough,
& rep for dressing flashy as you go strut your stuff,
Rep for snapping your fingers or whistling to all your favourite tunes,
& rep for sitting by the lake & talking to the loons,
A bit of rep if you’re energetic & will be tackling household chores,
&r ep for taking the time to relax & bask in the outdoors,
Rep if you are a person who likes talking on the phone,
& reps if you know its offensive if you wear too much cologne,
Rep if you turn the other cheek & cut someone a bit of slack,
Cause that is the kind of attitude that helps to keep on track,
Rep if you’re going to meet with friends & maybe raise a glass,
& special rep is sent your way with just a touch of sass!
Rep if you’ll continue wearing white even after Labour Day,
& if you’ve ever written a what-I-did-in-summer essay,
Rep for all the thoughtful rep that you’ve extended to other thread-mates,
