Having OCD is a personal issue and not something other people (namely team leads) need to bend over back wards to accommodate imo.Earn points and redeem for prizes like Amazon GCs! I've earned $115 so far: hit me at http://www.swagbucks.com/refer/MrDisco

Good communication is key between the team leader and members. I think we should all be *very* thankful to the leaders and Cyanne for taking on these duties. Sometimes a leader could be dealing with lots of questions, hand holding for newbies, making sure all the emails were received for both the registration and the shopping, chasing people who haven't advised them they shopped or not. Most groups are very smooth and not alot of work - but keep in mind there are some groups that need alot of help and handholding.. so don't expect your group leaders to have time to update you every 5 minutes! I know it can be frustrating to not be constantly updated - but just be patient and I'm sure everyone eventually will report in!

I completely agree with this statement. I think when a group leader takes on the position they are supposed to update their group members however some people expect there to be updates hourly or something along those lines....
This is my 4th time being a leader and I ALWAYS get a great group... noone ever harasses me or I haven't yet found a complaint against me. This event was my most hectic as it is the summer, I have 2 kids (9&10) and they are alot sometimes... they want to swim, they play baseball, they want to do this and that. I update when I get a chance and assume everyone will bear with me while I am not updating... I am a person that hates checking my email but do so because I participate in alot of online surveys! I might check my email twice a day (more if expecting something) but sometimes things prevent me from updating.
We can all say we shopped and the leaders can update the thread but who knows if everyone is telling the truth... us as leaders won't know anything until the day the points are distributed and at that moment we will let the rest of the group know exactly what is going on. Until then it is just a hit and miss or taking others words for it.

As far as I'm concerned (this is coming from a group leader, who hasn't been doing updates, but group memebers have not been begging for updates), updates after people have shopped are a bit of a waste of time. The true results will come in when the points come in.
A group can have all 10 (or 11 if you count the leader) say that they shopped, but then when it comes down the the points being sent out, it turns out that one or two may not have. This has happened to me in a group that I was a leader of. Because of this, I don't like to do updates.
And that's my opinion.
So, for those in Group 8, thank you for being patient and understanding. We will find out if all members shopped when the points are distributed. Hopefully everyone still has their receipts just in case.SwagBucks.com - the premiere digital dollar. Earn SwagBucks to redeem for great prizes. Amazon.ca are available here!
