    Hi everyone
I was wondering how a coupon is considered high value? I think that some people assume their coupon is HV if it is $3 or more. But I kinda disagree with this. I feeel that a coupon is HV when the amount of the coupon is taken in consideration to the price of the product. For instance I would find a $2 Rice Krispie squares coupon more HV than say $4 Pampers coupon. Only because The RKsquares will end up costing me less than $1 but the Pampers, even with the coupon, will cost me more than $15. I would really appreciate any feedback on how others feel about the so called HV coupon, Thanks.

I think the way you think is the way folks think on here. Not sure, but to me HV is when you have a coupon, that may not be that high in price, but would get you something at only partial price, if not free, eg. $2.00 nutrigrain, not a FPC, but when on sale they are free with that coupon.

i think its also what percentage of the product you can get off with the coupon. personally if it is 35-40% or up, i consider it a high value coupon. it also depends on how rare it is.

I think $4 pampers coupon is also a HV coupon. it's rare for one and if used on $9.99 bag of diapers is cuts off your cost by almost half.

$4 Pampers is considered as HV to me. I don't know how much diapers cost but I often only see $3 Pampers around. Also depends on the restrictions on the coupons too. (i.e. $1 any Glade could get you free ultra/aerosol!)

The way I look at it is 40% or more off regular price is HV. I think some look at "popular" ones as HV and shouldn't IMHO. $4 Pampers are popular if it's on the boxes only, but HV if it is for any size. Just my look on things.

That is also how I feel. It is a coupon where if the product goes on sale, you can get it for free or very close to free.

I tihnk that a coupon is considered high value based on the monetary value of the coupon, how close to free u can get a product with the coupon and how rare it is to have such a coupon LOL ....

    For example:

$1.50 from weston bakeries can get u very cheap bread but these coupons are hard to get or $3 chapmans :O)

    Just my thought
