It's Fun Being a Coupon Fairy

So it's the end of the month, and as I'm sure all of you here would know, that means tons of coupons are about to expire! I had a big stack of coupons, especially Brandsaver and brandsaver.ca, that were expiring either today or in the next several days that I know I wasn't going to use... so this morning, I decided to go on a coupon fairy run!

First went to Wal-Mart and dropped off a ton of coupons for household and personal items... put all the coupons at the corresponding locations where the products were located. After doing my round of the store, I went back to see if the coupons were still there, and I noticed a few had already been taken.

I ended up only picking up two croissants for myself there. Well, I was going to pick up a pack of DanActive as well, and there was a 50¢ coupon attached to the package, and I wanted to use the $2 save.ca coupon as well, and I thought they had a policy where if there was already a coupon affixed to the package, you can use another coupon on top of it... but the cashier wouldn't let me, and the supposed supervisor she checked with said the same... so, I just cancelled it.

Next I went to Superstore and dropped off my remaining food coupons... and while I was in the frozen foods aisle, I saw a lady had maybe 5-6 Stouffer boxes in her cart, so I offered her my two Buy 3, Save $2 coupons... and she was quite happy!

It feels good to be a coupon fairy.

I wonder if that's what the tooth fairy does? ...you know, go to people with no teeth and drop off the teeth she picks up from children who lose theirs? Maybe that's how dentures are made? (I'm babbling, aren't I)???

I love giving people coupons as well! Sometimes they are extremely appreciative but a few look at me like I'm crazy

I did that yesterday too at WM. I had tons of brandsaver Pampers coupons left so I gave one to a lady that was just putting a package of diapers in her cart. Then I spread out the remaining (20) all over the Pampers boxes and bags.
