I have 108,268 Shoppers Drug Mart points, but before I redeem them I want to know how I become an SDM Plus Member? Apparently they'll give you 10,000pts for redeeming 75,000. Which is pretty good, I guess.

Sorry, I don't know where this belongs. This forum is huge.

You need to obtain 10,000 regular shoppers optinum points to qualify. If you look at the bottom of a recent receipt it will tell you how many points you need to qualify. Bonus optimun points don't qualify unfortunately.

They automatically make you a shoppers plus member when you have earned 10000 regular pts, meaning no points from trading pts for coupons or 15X events, etc. It will show on the bottom of your receipt if you are a member. If you think you made 10000 regular pts, you should call them and find out about it

You also get regular points for buying Shoppers Drug Mart gift cards that counts towards being an Optimum member.

I have only redeemed my Optimum points like once in my entire life. lol I signed up when in like 1995 or something ridiculous - when they FIRST came out, whenever that was? Year ago, obviously. So hopefully I'm automatically a plus member already?

    My reciept only says

    Reg Points:XXX
Total Points Earned Today:XXX(same # as regular points)
    Current Points Balance:XXX
    Next Reward Level:XXX

Nothing about being a Plus Member. Weird.

If you are currently a plus member it will print the plus logo on your receipts. Does it do that on your receipts?

i think it only shows up on the bottom of your reciept when you start geting "close" to being a plus memeber. Maybe when you've obtained like 7500 or 8000 (just guessing at the amount)regular points so far that year. And I believe once you are a plus member you need to maintain that 10,000 reg opints/year to keep the plus status or you'll drop back down. I'm sure one of the other members that actually is a plus member could tell us for sure.

It does give you the Optimum plus logo on your receipts if you are Plus member.

I think it was when I was at 5000 points I started getting amount of points I needed to get to plus status.

I am a Plus member and it does show on every receipt now. As I got close to 10,000 points it gave a countdown.

you have to get 10,000 regular points each year to be a plus member for the next year.

So if it doesn't show on your receipt, then you aren't one yet. I think once you need 2500 or so it starts telling you on the bottom of your receipt how many you need to be a plus member.
