Do they still offer regular SDM points for buying an SDM GC? On the other forum I seem to have read conflicting info on this.

SDM does sill give points on SDM gift cards (and no other gift card).

From the terms and conditions:

13. Pharmaprix Optimum Points will not be issued respecting the purchase of the following items/services: electronic gift cards (except Pharmaprix gift cards), prescription drugs, all products sold exclusively in pharmacy, wireless phone cards, stamps, Post Office, passport photos, bus tickets and passes, products with codeine, Life Experience Gift Cards, cigarettes and tobacco (where sold), lottery tickets, delivery charges (where applicable), bill payments (where accepted), bottle deposits/returns (where accepted), gift with purchases, charitable donations, the Pharmaprix Optimum Points redemption portion of a transaction, and any other items specified as exclusions from time to time or where prohibited by law. Due to each province’s regulations and the regulations of each provincial Pharmacy Regulatory Authority, the issuance of Pharmaprix Optimum Points for prescription drug purchases and select products purchased through the dispensary varies by province. In addition, there may be restrictions on the issuance of Pharmaprix Optimum Points on prescription drug purchases in accordance with the provisions of the Pharmaprix Optimum Members’ third party drug plans. Pharmaprix Optimum Points will not be awarded to any third party drug plans on prescription drug purchases made by their clients. See store for details or contact the Customer Service Centre. In provinces where prescription drug purchases qualify for points, the individual Pharmaprix Optimum Member may only accumulate points for prescription drug purchases filled in his or her own name, with the exception of any of the Member’s children under the age of 16. Pharmaprix Optimum Points will be awarded when a Pharmaprix Optimum Member pays for a purchase with an electronic gift card. Pharmaprix reserves the right to add or delete items eligible for Pharmaprix Optimum Points issuance at any time, at its sole discretion, without notice.

The most important thing to ost of us is that the signup preocedure has changed. SDM no longer emails you an invitation to send to friends; instead you send invitations to your friends through a form yourself. That means that your group leader will have to contact you to say s/he is sending you an invitation from <his/her name> and then you willl have to check for the email and use it to log in using any of the 3 ecurity questions. I'm just finishing the tutorials now, and then we can begin. Thanks for your patience.
