From that picture it seems that for apparel the ratio of ptz to discount is 100ptz - 10% discount.

I'm expecting the discount ratio for electronics to be around 200-400ptz - 10% discount.

The reason why is; There are going to be lots of people with around 1000ptz(so if it were 100ptz - 10% discount people will be going for the most expensive items possible, can you say free apple macbook air).

If however the ptz needed for electronics discount was 400ptz - 10% discount, then there will be very few who have a high enough amount to get a good discount, and therefore Lockerz would be able to make money from the shop in some form.

@Bob, are you a LAB member, or did you find the image. If its the first, any chance you know if the 100ptz - 10% discount goes for everything in the store?

Can you get a 100% discount for an item? If you can, I don't think the prizes will be in stock. Can't wait for this. Even if I can get an ipod touch for $100, that's still a good deal.

Yeah, Lockerz hasn't announced anything about the feature, other than it will be launched next month. We'll just have to wait.

Still 2 days for double ptz, I have like 30 unwatched dailies videos lol.

I've got 50 unwatched videos at the moment, and i plan on letting them mount up too.

I already have 1339 points so i'm not desperate for the extra points right now.

I'm just watching them any time they have double ptz. I've pretty much given up on making the Z-List, and I've heard that they do start removing videos eventually.

I hope so too...I think all of us here do... Sadly, it won't be happening anytime soon =( Hopefully, I am wrong ;D

No, unfortunately you're right, the SHOP feature will be launched in May, but I don't see the 24/7 ptzplace opening for another 3-5 months. My ptz will start expiring in September so it's going to suck if they open 24/7 ptzplace after that time.

It won't suck that much surely. If you joined in September then you'll lose 120-124 points per month, 60/62 per month for login & 60/62 each month for dailies.(Not factoring in double points days).

You'll still earn these points, so your amounts should remain relatively unchanged.

Yes your points won't increase as much as usual, but with the videos being posted quite regular(and do remember that Lockerz will launch other ways to get PTZ before they even go 24/7) you'll still get a noticeable increase each month.

The time to worry won't come until at least December 2010/January 2011 which would be a year since "Play" was launched. Thats when you'll start to notice any discernible points drop.

The only people who it will affect come one year after they joined are those who are Z-listers, but with all the points those people have so far amassed, they will more than likely be able to get 80 - 100% discounts on the items next month when "Shop" launches, which surely most if not all of us are going to take advantage of.

Also, if you are waiting until 24/7 then sorry but thats quite naive to think that Locker won't just negate all ptz totals, given that by then hundreds of thousands of members will have thousands of ptz to spend.

So either ptz prices will increase again(unlikely as hundreds will still be able to afford expensive items), or they will negate all ptz totals.

Which do you think is more likely?

I know what i think is more likely and profitable from a business standpoint, which is why once "Shop" launches, i'm gonna grab something at discount, even if it means paying a little bit myself+import fees(if required).

Then I'll just login answer the dailies for my ptz and leave the videos until after 24/7 launches.
