Hi Fellow shoppers!

It has been quite a while since I have been on for info, but you guys are awesome for your input on things. Not sure if this has been posted, I tried the search but couldn't locate anything.

Does any one have any opinions/issues or heard anything good/bad about this company who offers free hot water tanks? Apparently they will take over your hot water tank rental from Direct Energy?

I had a rep come to the door tonight and I can't find much on this company...

Any idea's?

I had a rep come to my home the other day too. They were pretty eager about putting in that new water tank and wanting to come in my home to see my tank. I never heard of LivClean, but the rep that approached me was for National Home Services. The sales rep gave me a pamphlet. Did you get a pamphlet too? Anyways, it says they are not "owned by or affiliated with Embridge Inc. or Embridge Gas Distribution." Since there's a lot of those door-to-door contract scams going on I called Embridge after their visit and they said it was up to me whether I want to install it. I just found it very weird because the sales rep gave me the impression that it was urgent and I had to let them in and get the tank installed right then and there. I suggest you call your service provider and talk to them about. I didn't get it installed.

Thanks, it seems I had the same feeling. Too many scams going on and this guy talked so fast and just seemed like it was an emergency that we get our hot water tank changed asap. My hubby told him to come back tomorrow and all he kept saying was well give me your account number. I don't keep those bills handy, they are all online. He wasn't impressed. We eventually got him out after 4 times of him looking at our hot water tank...not sure why he needed to look at it that many times.

I got a prerecorded phone messsage from Direct Energy 2 weeks ago stating that there were people going door to door in my area representing variouse companies(even saying they were Direct Energy in some cases) and that it was a scam and to require picture ID and then check them out before letting anyone in.

Wait...you guys rent your hot water tanks?
