So I am out of town and my son is acting really weird. Not sleeping and what not so I decide to go down to WM to get him a new toy to try and settle him down. We pick out 2 packs of cars and they ring in @ $7.92 but the tag on them clearly states $6.92 so off I go to customer service and I'm about to start my speach about SCOP and she just offers it to me. She was very nice about it. My first and probably my easiest SCOP! I love free stuff!!

technically, i think, if there is a tag on them, SCOP is not applicable. But congrats to you for getting it anyways =)

Hmmm...anyone know why that is? I thought I read somewhere that it didn't apply when it was clearance priced but this was not the case for these. I believe most of the toys at WM have tags on them.

SCOP is Scanning Code of Practice.

It does state that it does not apply to stickered prices, only scanned prices.

Walmart seems to give it whether the item is clearance or not...which actually is a great policy. They gave me a free Crest Prospin toothbrush that was on clearance and still rang in wrong. I didn't even ask. Maybe just store specific or up to CS agent at Walmart.
