HUUUUUGE Savings on Pet Supplies!! INSANE Petcetera closing blowout!!!

On Sunday, I went out with my sister and mum to XS Cargo, and we passed by Petcetera, which is on the same block, and I saw a sign that said Last 1 Day of closing sale, 90-95% off!!! So we went to check it out, and zomg most of the stuff in the store was already gone! We were looking around, and the staff kept marking down the prices of items!

So first, betta condos were $1 each (I believe regular $8 each)…but then they were marked down to 10 for $1 on all fish supplies!!!!!!!!!!!! Bulk cat litter was regular about $13.95 a bag (you scoop it yourself), was now $2.40 a bag, then marked down to $1 a bag while I was browsing!! :O! Plus all store used items were $1 each, and we found a big jug of oatmeal pet shampoo that was maybe 2/3 used, and we needed some shampoo for our cat anyway, so we grabbed that!<o:p></o:p>

So I grabbed 10 betta condos (6 and 4 of each design) and 2 buckets with the bulk cat litter, and my sis found a metal 10-gallon aquarium stand regular $99.97…<o:p></o:p>

The tag said 95% off where my sis found it, but it did say reptile supplies, so she wasn’t sure. She asked the cashier, who asked another cashier, and she was like…80%? 90%?
So I think it was supposed to be 95% off!! L<o:p></o:p>
My mum wanted to get some silica cat litter as well, and it was 7 bags for $10, and she was trying to get them to sell it for $1 a bag, but they said it was 7/$10…<o:p></o:p>

Anyway, then we headed to another aquarium store across the street to check things out, and my sis and I were saying hmm, they might mark things down even more since it is their last day and they close at 5 (it was about 3:45). So then….WE HEADED BACK.<o:p></o:p>

I wanted to get more betta condos…and when I went there, there was a couple with a shopping cart FILLED TO THE BRIM with them!!! :O:O:O So I grabbed some bags and started stuffing the in LOL. I got another 20! Then as we headed to cash…guess what, the silica cat litter were now $1 a bag!!! And 2 girls grabbed like 24 bags!!!!!! So we started loading up our arms with it too, and got 12 bags ourselves. Then my sis and I were eyeing a large store used aquarium that was on the shelf no one was looking at…and we told the cashier we wanted that too, and it was sold to us for $1 (since it was store used supply)!!!!!!!! And it’s like a 20 gallon tank!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Including a filter and some gravel!!!! <o:p></o:p>

All books were 10cents each too, and I found a hermit crab one that I wanted. <o:p></o:p>

SOOOO crazy! There were only a few bags of dog and cat food left, $5 each. Canned cat food 2/$1, cat pouches 3/$1, dog collars & leashes $1 each, then marked down to 2/$1, food bowls 4/$1, pet clothes 2/$1, pet medicine 10cents each, grooming $3 each, books 10cents each, dog chew bones $5 for bag of 20 (some ppl just stuffed their bag to the brim coz they didn’t read limit 20), dog toys 5/$1, small pet litter $1 each marked down to 2/$1, fish supplies 10/$1, bird supplies 2/$1 etc, etc, etc!!! I am not sure if it was the last day of sales at all Petcetera stores, or just this location only, but I hope some of you were able to catch these sales!!!<o:p></o:p>

I went to that location on Sunday, and picked up a whole bunch of dog chews for 8¢ each... and my fiance bought one of those Betta Condos for $1... now I feel ripped off. :p

That is INSANE, but at the same time sad that they are closing. Only for the people losing jobs, though. BUT someone has to buy the stuff or they will just throw it out so who better than you.
