A Good Day for GoodNites

Today was such a beautiful sunny day that DH decided to go for a motorbike ride.We live in rural Cape Breton and he was going to be near a Zellers that I had not already checked for trial size GoodNites so I sent him with my coupons that I got from some great trades I have done in the past month.He hates coupons but love the money I save with them.I think if it had been local he would not of went for me but I am so glad he did cause this is what he got:
11x one pack $1.99 - 11x $3 coupons = -$11.11
2x two pack $2.99 - 2x $3 coupons = -0.02
1x full pack $12.49 - 1x $3 coupon = $9.49
Total after tax for all 14 idems = $3.61
I was so proud of him.SC has taught me and now I am teaching him!!

That's awesome, did you use the 3.00 off coupons that are in the stores in that dispense thing?? Because the only ones I have found say for a jumbo pack or larger

No the one that I had were from the smart source or shop and save(Saturday paper)a while back.They said "any" pack of GoodNite Sleep pants.I was glad to find them because the coupons expire the end of June.

He said there was an elderly man in the parking lot watching him and laughed as he squished them all into the saddle bags!!

OMG thats fantastic, I wish for the day my DH would rake coupons shopping. He tends to go into store buy a few things we need and a few things he wants and he doesn't even look at the prices on the register I am in shock when he goes. He has never gone coupon shopping with me but someday I will drag him along and teach him a thing or two.

DH is usually the same but I think he was guilty for leaving me at home with the kids on such a nice day for a bike ride.He knows how to get me on his good side.Don't buy me expensive flowers, just diapers with coupons!!
