A few weeks ago I thought it was the funniest thing in the world as I watched poor DH get maced by the sense & spray while he leaned over to tie his shoes.
Funniest thing in the world UNTIL it happened to me!!! I forgot my reusable shopping bags the other day so I ran back in the house, leaned over the speaker stand and went to grab the bags. The sense & spray goes off and gets me right in the eyes!!! I whip my head back and end up smashing my forehead off the corner of the wall!!! So not only was I blinded but now have a big goose egg on the side of my forehead!!! Stupid reusable shopping bags! Stupid sense & spray! Stupid ME!!!

I do honestly think their factory made a bad batch!
Mine hasn't maced me but the one in my room goes off at random times when no one is anywhere near it

Sounds like a dangerous product!
Somebody somewhere is going to end up suing them. You should at least send them an email so they can send you a coupon for more smelly mace.

OMG, that happened to my hubby, he bent down to pick something up off the bathroom floor...funny thing is, my DD told him it warns you first by flashing its little 'light' on the front.lol....I thought it was funny but not after hearing your story.

Mine is just having seisures it goes off and stops them goes off then goes off then goes off then stops, weird but its in the basement keeping that smelling good so I will wait till it dies.

Funny and awful- Yes! I have ALMOST been 'maced' by our sense & spray on several occasions ----

The title of this thread mad me laugh. Who knew they were so dangerous! Maybe people should carry them in there purses for protection!

No problem with my sense and spray(yet
)
However I have something even more embarrassing. I was cooking one day and had a bowl full of cayenne pepper on the counter. I was bent over the counter to pick something up and sneezed over the bowl by accident. The cayenne pepper flew up into my face. It literally was like getting pepper sprayed in the face.

not to me, but it happened to my dog! I was cleaning the bathroom, and set it on the edge of the tub (which is, unfortunately, eye level with my dog...) and my ever-so-curious mutt decided to investigate...well, it got him good - he vaulted into the air and high-tailed it out of there...and now he won't go into that bathroom...poor guy...he's fine now though, but it's now on the highest shelf, where it'll only get you if you're, like, 8 feet tall...
